I don’t even know if I’ll be able to go to Ecuador.

vkvsamv:

Anyway, everyone that I’ve talked to about it (except a few) has been all, “Omg. No. Not Ecuador. It’s not ~safe~”

Like forreal. I’m getting tired of hearing that.

Please direct all xenophobic inquiries as to the safety of Ecuador to me. I will gladly offer reasoned arguments or kicks to the face, depending on the severity of the stupid.

For freakin’ real, most U.S. citizens couldn’t even tell you anything about Ecuador. Now they’re acting like they know whether it’s safe or not. Oh, please! And if this is our family, James, DON’T THEY EVEN REALIZE WHERE I WENT THIS SUMMER?! If you dare let the haters make you miss out on one of the best experiences of your life, I shall be very disappointed.
